Wayfinding system that inspires and engages employees to move throughout the building on foot, promoting physical activity and well-being in the workplace while maintaining clear navigation for staff, clients, and visitors. We developed a hiking-inspired navigation concept that transforms vertical movement into an engaging journey, making stair use appealing by creating a metaphorical hiking experience within the office environment. The wayfinding system employed familiar trail markers and directional symbols, creating a cohesive narrative that guides users through their "hiking journey" as they navigate between floors and departments. The system creates a more relaxed daily atmosphere for employees, clients, and visitors while seamlessly integrating with the overall interior design concept, making SEB's workplace feel less corporate and more connected to natural environments.
