Wargaming, the global video game developer behind the renowned free-to-play title "World of Tanks," needed a wayfinding system for their workplace that would seamlessly integrate with an interior designed to mirror their game environment and embody their values as a cutting-edge gaming company. We needed to balance the theatrical gaming environment with practical wayfinding needs, ensuring employees could navigate efficiently while feeling connected to the World of Tanks universe even offline. Drawing direct inspiration from tank design elements, we developed wayfinding components that felt authentic to the game world. Every navigational detail, signage and directional elements appear as natural extensions of the game environment rather than traditional office wayfinding. By making wayfinding an integral part of the game-world immersion, we helped transform daily office navigation into an engagement tool that continuously connects employees to their creative work and the company's core gaming product.
